I like their size. I made Pho and the were perfect for this. The only thing I didn’t like is that they were hot to the touch, but I guess that is to be expected from a bowl of boiling broth.

These bowls are the perfect size for a hearty meal. Most of the bowls I have at home were either too small or unnecessarily wide for the amount. The dimensions of the bowls allow for a big serving without being excessive. They are sturdy, easy to clean, and have a good weight so that don’t feel cheap. Good value.

I got them to replace our old salad bowls from our wedding in 2012, which were quite chipped. My hubby and I are both very happy to have them, kids also love them for normal soup/cereal with milk, plus with more enough room to fit an adequate amount of noodles, broth and toppings. Great bowls overall!

Also, when you’re reheating something in the microwave while using these bowls, food does not boil over and make a mess. These bowls are awesome! A regular size soup bowl just does not work for a salad and a dinner plate does not hold a salad where I could toss the dressing. These bowls are huge and allowed me to use less dressing because I can now toss my salad inside of the bowl. No I don’t have to dirty up a large metal mixing bowl first and then transfer my salad to a plate. I caught up a large cucumber to make cucumber salad and it barely took up a quarter of the bowl. The balls are very nicely crafted and we love the black ring along the top edge. I accidentally hit this ball with the cucumbers against the edge of the granite and I was scraping the cucumbers I had cut off into the bowl. I hit it pretty hard and I was sure that I had chipped or cracked it. But it did nothing to the bowl. I’m very glad my wife found these bowls on Amazon. Five stars!

We were looking to replace our stack of large plastic ramen bowls. Turns out that was harder to do than I expected. I couldn’t find anything that was large enough and also everything I saw was super super thick porcelain. These bowls are elegant, exactly the large size I was looking for, and sturdy. They make perfect ramen bowls and also veggie cutting/prep bowls, too. Out went the plastic bowls! We love them so much I’m considering ordering another stack.

I’ve been meaning to pick out some better-looking large bowls to add to my collection for a while now, but put it off until just recently. When I just couldn’t stand these years-and-years-old melamine ones that we’ve “demolished” anymore (lol), I finally gave into a random splurge on some new kitchen stuff. I “settled” for melamine stuff the last time, because I got tired of things breaking. It just very noticeably enhances my dining experience, though, when it is served in a more aesthetically pleasing way… such as in a porcelain bowl instead of a plastic one.
I needed super-big ones for stuff like bibimbap, and ramen, and huge salads… things like that. These are good. They have a nice depth and hold a good amount. As with anything breakable, if you treat it well, it should last a while.
And speaking of things breaking, I must say something of this company’s amazing customer service. Even though the bowls were very well-packaged, and thoroughly cushioned with foam, somehow, one of the bowls still arrived chipped. Upon simply mentioning it directly to them, a replacement was promptly shipped out, no questions asked. Due to the way that they handled the interaction, I feel like a valued customer. I am very happy with my purchase, and I would order from them again in a heartbeat.
